Protecting Your Mind: A Brain Health Series with Somerset Primary Care
Somerset Primary Care is presenting a series on Brain Health on our Facebook page. Each week Dr Howard Haft briefly discusses aspects of brain health including how your brain functions, the things needed for normal function, the types of brain issues that lead to memory loss, dementia and other brain disorders. The series focuses on how to check on the health of your brain and ways to prevent or slow down declining brain health.
This is important information since the number of people with dementia is rapidly increasing with a great toll on them, their families and caregivers. Just like any other disease, it is important to identify and treat these disorders as early as possible to avoid the most severe consequences. Brain health evaluations are a routine part of the comprehensive care we provide at Somerset Primary Care.
